We process personal data only where the GDPR allows it: to fulfill a contract with you, based on your consent, to comply with legal obligations, or based on our legitimate interests. In short, this covers:

• Technical access data (IP address, date and time, browser and device information, pages visited) whenever you visit our website. This data is needed to deliver the site securely and is stored in server log files, which are normally deleted after 30 days at the latest.
• Contact data and message content when you reach out via our contact form, email, or WhatsApp Business. We use it to handle your request and delete it once your inquiry is resolved, unless statutory retention periods apply.
• Account, order, and payment data when you create a customer account or order in our online store, which runs on Shopify. Payments are handled by external providers such as Stripe, PayPal, Klarna, Amazon Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
• Usage data from analytics and marketing tools (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, Facebook Pixel, Google Maps, YouTube embeds, Google reCAPTCHA) — set only if you agree via our consent banner. You can change or withdraw your choices at any time via the privacy settings link in the footer.
• Data you enter in our mobile app. The app is operated by MedicBite Cologne GmbH; RemediCool GmbH provides the technology, hosting, and support as a processor under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR).

Health-related information — for example when you book services that include an analysis — is processed only with your explicit consent (Art. 9 GDPR). We keep personal data only as long as needed for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention periods (typically six to ten years under German commercial and tax law). Where data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we rely on safeguards such as the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the EU standard contractual clauses. No automated decision-making, including profiling (Art. 22 GDPR), takes place on our website.
